The left stamp is part of the set “Ceremonial Costumes” and depicts a Kuria lady from Mara. The middle stamp depicts the chestnut bolete (Gyroporus castaneus). The right stamp commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Zanzibar Revolution in 1964. It depicts the 7th president of Zanzibar, Dr. Ali Mohamed Shein.

The right stamp is part of a set, which commemorates the 10th memorial anniversary of the death of Princess Diana (1961-1997). The stamp set was issued on October 24, 2007.

Tanzania 130304My first cover from Tanzania was sent by Hussein, thanks! It was posted in Dar-es-Salaam on March 4 and arrived on March 18, 2013. I think it took some days longer, because Hussein wrote “Australia” instead of “Austria”.

The left stamp is part of a set, which commemorates the material culture of Tanzania. It was issued on February 15, 2012, and depicts Maasai beaded necklaces.

The right stamp is part of the set “Wild Animals of Tanzania”, which was issued on 31 August 2009.
