The attached stamps are part of the architecture set, which was issued on January 16, 2012. The stamps depict the One Pillar Pagoda (Chùa Một Cột) in Hanoi and the Chùa Cầu bridge in Hội An.

The cover commemorates the World Press Freedom Day. The stamps depict the orchids Dendrobium aphyllum, D. chrysotoxum, and D. draconis. The set was issued on April 1, 2013.

The top left stamp commemorates the bicentenary of the birth of Frédérick Chopin (1810-1849), the stamp was issued on February 22, 2010. The bottom left stamp (issued July 23, 2010) commemorates the birth centenary of Tạ Quang Bửu (1910-1986), who was the first minister of Vietnam’s Ministry of Higher and Secondary Professional Education.

The top right stamp is part of a set, which was issued on August 1, 2009. It depicts the flower Enkianthus quinqueflorus. The last stamp depicts the floss silk flower (Ceiba chodatii (Hassl.) Ravenna), it was issued on October 25, 2008.
