This beautiful cover from the Philippines was sent by Helen, thank you! It was posted in Manila on June 14 and arrived on June 26, 2017.

The left stamp was issued on December 7, 2009. It commemorates the 65th anniversary of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

The stamp set on the right was issued on March 27, 2017. It depicts the lizards Luzon Bicolored Earth Skink (Brachymeles bicolor), Philippine False Gecko (Pseudogekko brevipes), Gigante Limestone Gecko (Gekko gigante), and Striped Tree Skink (Lipinia pulchella).

Gero sent me this beautiful cover from the Philippines, thank you! It was posted in Lucena City on June 21 and arrived on June 28, 2012.

The attached mini-sheet was issued on November 10, 2011, and commemorates the Day of the Galleon Festival (Día de Galeón), which celebrates the maritime importance of the Manila galleons, which linked the Philippines to Mexico and Spain. More info can be found here.

Thank you, Gero, for sending this beautiful cover from the Philippines! It was posted in Lucena City on March 6 and arrived on March 15, 2012.

The 2011 mini-sheet commemorates the Philippine endemic frogs Gliding Tree Frog (Rhacophorus pardalis), Luzon Fanged Frog (Limnonectes macrocephalus), Northern Luzon Tree-Hole Frog (Kaloula kalingensis), Taylor’s Igorot Frog (Sanguirana igorota), and Mary Inger’s Wart Frog (Ingerana mariae). The stamps were issued on December 15, 2011.

On the back there are six stamps attached: The left one is part of a set, which commemorates the 150th birthday of José Rizal (1861-1896). It was issued on June 19, 2011. The stamp depicts the 7p 1935 Rizal Stamp and the Rizal Monument in Guinobatan, Albay.

The right stamps were issued on October 17, 2011. They depict the Picasso Trigger Fish (Rhinecanthus aculeatus).

Three of the attached stamps are part of the 2006 lighthouse set, which They depict the lighthouses Faro de Punta Bugui in Aroroy and Faro de Isla Corregidor in Cavite. The fourth stamp commemorates Philippines 11th president Corazon C. Aquino (1933-2009).

The se-tenant 2007 stamps depict the mallard (Anas platyrhynchos), green-winged teal (Anas carolinensis), tufted duck (Aythya fuligula), and Cotton Pygmy Goose (Nettapus coromandelianu).

The FDC was issued on June 30, 2009. It has attached four stamps (two different topics), which commemorate the 400th anniversary of the foundation of Baler by Franciscan Missionaries.

Thank you, Pauline, for this beautiful cover with 2007 mini-sheet, which commemorates the 60th anniversary of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources. The two stamps of this mini-sheet depict a cuttle fish, the bigfin reef squid (Sepioteuthis lessoniana), and the sacol green (Kappaphycus sp.).
