The stamp depicts the Victoria Falls and commemorates the 50th anniversary of independence in 1964.

Mellah sent me this airmail letter from Zambia, thanks! It was posted on January 20, 2010, and one day later was cancelled again in Lusaka (the postmark is on the back).

The stamp (issued May 29, 2009) depicts the aardwolf (Proteles cristata).
