My parents sent me this postcard from Samarkand, Uzbekistan. The card was posted on April 29, 2006. The picture depicts the Mukhammad Rakhimkhan Madrasah in Khiva.

The stamp depicts the painting “Yaz” by Y. P. Melnikov. It is part of the “Paintings” stamp set, which was issued on January 3, 2006.
