#1224 Belize 19/01/15

This is my second cover from Belize, it was sent by Wolfgang, thank you very much! It was posted on January 15 and arrived on January 23, 2019.

The left stamp commemorates the Guanacaste National Park. The middle stamp commemorates the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mexico and Belize. The right stamp commemorates the archeological reserve of Nohoch Che’en.

#717 Belize 13/09/24

My first cover from Belize was sent by Gabriel, thank you! It was posted in Belize City on September 24 and arrived on October 3, 2013.

The top left stamp is part of the birds mini-sheet, which was issued on July 31, 1978. It depicts the King Vulture (Sarcoramphus papa).

The next stamp commemorates the Government House of Culture in Belize City.

The next two stamps are part of the set “Famous Belizeans” (issued August 11, 1993). They commemorate Herbert Watkin Beaumont (1880-1978) and Karl Heusner (1872-1960).

The two stamps depicting Lady Diana (1961-1997) are part of the set, which commemorates her 21st birthday on July 1. The set was issued on May 20, 1982.

On the back is a GLS label sticker with the date October 2, 2013. So this letter is one of a few, which are not delivered by Austrian post.
