The stamp on the left depicts a Nile crocodile. The middle stamp depicts the banana plant (Musa sapientum). The right stamp commemorates the visit of Pope Francis to Uganda in November 2015.

The left stamp depicts the shining-blue kingfisher (Alcedo quadribrachys). The right stamp depicts the palm cockatoo (Probosciger aterrimus).

The stamps are part of a set, which commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Sierra Club in 1992. The set was issued on November 9, 1994. The stamps depict a chimpanzee, a Grévy’s zebra, and a cheetah.
