The stamp set on the right was issued on November 19, 2015. It commemorates the orchids Epipactis palustris, Cephalanthera rubra, and Ophrys taurica.

Ukraine 131101V.V. sent this beautiful cover from Ukraine, thank you! It was posted in Uzhgorod on November 1 and arrived on November 11, 2013.

The cover is a postal stationery and commemorates the Ukrainian sculptor Vasil’ Svida (1913-1989).

The left stamp was issued on August 24, 2013, and depicts some pumpkins. The right stamp (issued October 9, 2013) is entitled “History of National Communication”.

Ukraine 140312This very nice cover from Ukraine was sent by Kateryna, thank you very much! It was posted in Lviv on March 12 and arrived on March 24, 2014.

The left stamp is part of the set “Trees”, which was issued on February 3, 2012. It depicts the leaf and nut of the horse-chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum).

The right stamp is part of the mini-sheet (issued October 4, 2012), which commemorates the 200th Anniversary of Nikitsky Botanical Garden. It depicts a cactus of the Echinocereus genus.

Ukraine 130928Thank you, Basil, for sending this nice cover from Ukraine! It was posted in Luhansk (Луга́нськ) on September 28 and arrived on October 3, 2013.

The top stamp was issued on August 31, 2013 (I suppose the inscription “12.08.2013” on the stamp is the printing date). It commemorates the airplane Antonov AN-158.

The bottom stamp (issued on August 23, 2013) commemorates the city of Dnipropetrovsk (Дніпропетро́вськ).

This nice cover was sent to me by John from Dnipropetrovsk on February 05, 2010.

There are five definitive stamps attached and one commemorative, which is a Ukraine/Moldavia joint issue. It was issued on September 6, 2007, and depicts a Russian sturgeon (Acipenser gueldenstaedtii).

The cover commemorates the Ukrainian ballet dancer Serge Lifar (Сергій Лифар; 1905-1986).

The left two stamps were issued on April 1, 2009, the right one on March 21, 2008. All three commemorate the 200th birthday of Nikolai Gogol (Никола́й/Мико́ла Го́голь; 1809-1852).
