The mini-sheet depicts the birds common tern (Sterna hirundo) and the barn swallow (Hirundo rustica).

The mini-sheet is the 2019 EUROPA stamp issue of the Azores. It was issued on May 9, 2019 and depicts the fieldfare (Turdus pilaris) and the São Miguel goldcrest (Regulus regulus azoricus).

The stamps are the 2019 EUROPA stamps (issued on March 4, 2019) and depict the golden eagle (Aquila chrysaetos).

The second right stamp depicts two northern lapwings (Vanellus vanellus).

The cover and stamp commemorate the white stork (Ciconia ciconia).

This nice cover from Algeria was sent by Abdelkrim, thank you! It was posted in Bordj El Bahri on January 29 and arrived on February 7, 2019.

The top left stamps depict the Fort Du Phare in Algier. The stamp below depicts a bird of the Serinus species. The middle stamps depicts the common dentex (Dentex dentex), and the right stamp depicts a part of the Mosaique Des Muses, which is hosted in the Archaeological Museum of Cherchell.

The stamps commemorate the Eurasian eagle-owl (Bubo bubo) and the dinosaur species Tarbosaurus bataar.

#1186 Moldova – Transnistria 18/10/12

My first cover from Transnistria (PMR) was sent by Patrik, thank you very much! It was posted in Tiraspol on October 12 and arrived on October 17, 2018.

The stamp sheet was issued on March 31, 2001. It commemorates the corn crake (Crex crex).

Patrik has attached a stamp of the PMR too, which is not valid for international postage and therefore was not cancelled.

The left stamp depicts the grey cuckooshrike (Coracina caesia).

The right stamps are part of the set “Lake Malawi”, which was issued on April 25, 2014.

#1176 Curaçao 11/09/23

In October 2011 I received this registered letter from Curaçao. It was posted on September 23, 2011.

The left stamp is part of the set “Sea Shells”, which was issued on 19 September 2008. It commemorates the shell Strombus gigas.

The right mini-sheet was issued on 25 October 2010. It depicts the sapphire-rumped parrotlet (Touit purpuratus).

The cover is interesting because stamps of two different countries were used. The country Netherlands Antilles was dissolved on 10 October 2010, but the stamps were still valid.

The WWF stamps commemorate the Norfolk robin (Petroica multicolor; the stamp inscription is “Pacific robin”) and the Polynesian starling (Aplonis tabuensis).

The stamp depicts the Arabian bustard (Ardeotis arabs). It is part of the WWF stamp set, which was issued on July 10, 2017.

#1122 Singapore 17/08/23

Terence has sent this very nice cover from Singapore, thank you! It was posted on August 23 and arrived on September 1, 2017.

The two stamps on top are part of the “Kingfisher” stamp set, which was issued on April 26, 2017. The stamps depict the black-capped kingfisher (Halcyon pileata) and the blue-eared kingfisher (Alcedo meninting).

The bottom stamp was issued on August 8, 2017. It is part of the joint issue stamp series of the ASEAN postal operators and commemorates the 50th anniversary of the ASEAN foundation. The stamp depicts the national flower of Singapore, the orchid Vanda ‘Miss Joaquim’.
