On June 26 I received this nice cover from Ivory Coast, thank you, Barry! It was posted on June 8 in Abidjan.
The left stamp depicts the first post office in Grand-Bassam. The right stamps commemorate the African green pigeon (Treron calvus), although the stamp’s inscription says “Treron Vinago Australis”.
Barry included a nice postcard of Bassam too.

My first cover from Ivory Coast was sent by Xavier, thank you! It was posted in Abidjan on February 3 and arrived on February 12, 2014.
The stamp is part of a set, which commemorates the 50th anniversary of the first EUROPA stamp in 1956. It depicts the CEPT logo, a map with the cities of London and Yamoussoukro, and a pair of sweet potatoes (Ipomoea batatas). The stamp set was issued on December 23, 2005.
