The left stamp commemorates the Norfolk Island hibiscus (Lagunaria patersonia). The right stamp commemorates the red-tailed tropicbird (Phaethon rubricauda).

Norfolk 140908On September 18 I received this nice cover from Norfolk Island, which was sent with the help of the Philatelic Bureau. It was posted on September 8, 2014.

The stamps are part of the set “Shorelines”, which was issued on September 30, 2013. They depict the Ball Bay, the Emily Bay, and the Second Sands beach.
