#1170 Faroe Islands 18/06/25

Here is another very nice cover, which was sent by Wolfgang, thank you very much! It was posted in Tórshaven on June 25 and arrived on July 5, 2018.

The left stamp is part of the set “The Faroes Under The Sea”, which was issued on February 22, 2010. The next two stamps are part of the 2006 definitive set, which was issued on February 13, 2006. They depict the villages Fuglafjørður and Syðrugøta.

My first cover from the Faroe Islands was sent to me by Jean Pierre, thank you very much! The cover was posted in Tórshavn on October 29, 2009.

The left stamp was issued on September 16, 2009. It is the 2009 SEPAC issue and depicts the Faroes village Leynar. The two right stamps were issued on September 22, 2008. This set of two stamps depict ancient crosses.
