William has sent this registered cover from El Salvador, thank you very much! It was posted on May 4 and arrived on May 24, 2018.

The four stamps on the front side are part of the set “200th Anniversary of the First Shout of Independence”, which commemorates the 1811 Independence Movement. The set was issued on May 25, 2011.

The left stamp on the back is the 2017 Christmas stamp (issued on November 13). The stamp on the right is part of a set, which commemorates the 80th anniversary of diplomatic relations with Japan. That set was issued on February 13, 2015.

This nice cover from El Salvador was sent by Jose, thanks! It was posted in San Salvador on August 29 and arrived on September 12, 2013.

The top two stamps of 2013 commemorate the “Fauna Prehispánica”. They depict the jaguar (Panthera onca) and two sculptures of the Pre-Columbian era. The bottom stamp was issued on September 4, 2008 and commemorates the Villa Palestina in San Luis Talpa. This is a building project that was donated by the Palestine community of El Salvador to the victim families of the 2001 earthquake.
