The top left cancellation commemorates Hamburg’s honorary citiztens Hannelore “Loki” and Helmut Schmidt. The bottom left cancellation commemorates the 25th anniversary of the Kulturpalast Hamburg (cultural centre).

The right stamp and its cancellation commemorates the 150th anniversary of the North German Postal Union.

The top left stamp is part of a set, which was issued on February 14, 2012. It commemorates the 30th anniversary of SOS Children’s Villages in Liberia. The next stamp commemorates president Ellen Johnson Sirleaf (*1938). It is part of a set, which was issued on August 22, 2006. The top right stamp depicts US president Theodore Roosevelt (1858-1919); the stamp is part of a mini-sheet, which was issued on May 4, 2009.

The bottom left stamp is part of the set “Traditional Dances and Masks”, which was issued on August 2, 2009. The last stamp is part of the mini-sheet “The Aliens of Star Trek”, which was issued on December 21, 2015.

Alena also included a postcard, which depicts Liberia’s largest lake: Lake Piso.

The two stamps on the right depict the Menelik’s bushbuck (Tragelaphus scriptus meneliki). The smaller one is part of a set, which was issued on December 12, 2002 and the right one is part of a set, which was issued on June 19, 2000.
