My mother has sent my this very nice postcard from her trip to Peru. It was posted in Machu Picchu on October 28, 2016.

Ths stamps depict the endangered birds white-bellied cinclodes (Cinclodes palliatus) and marvellous spatuletail (Loddigesia mirabilis).

The stamps are part of a set, which was issued on July 18, 2008. They commemorate the fish Bocón (Ageneiosus ucayalensis), Sábalo de cola negra (Brycon melanopterus), and Paco (Piaractus brachypomus).
