The left stamp depicts the mushroom Russula ingen, the middle stamp depicts the flower of the passion fruit (maracuja, Passiflora edulis), and the right stamp depicts the ruff (Calidris pugnax).

The left stamp is part of the set “Ceremonial Costumes” and depicts a Kuria lady from Mara. The middle stamp depicts the chestnut bolete (Gyroporus castaneus). The right stamp commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Zanzibar Revolution in 1964. It depicts the 7th president of Zanzibar, Dr. Ali Mohamed Shein.

The top left and bottom right stamp are part of the “Butterflies and Flowers” set, which was issued on September 6, 2013. The stamps commemorate the Great Eggfly (Hypolimnas bolina) sitting on a Tahitian gardenia (Gardenia taitensis) and a meadow argus (Junonia villida) sitting on an elder (Sambucus nigra).
The top right stamp is part of the set “Royal Baby – Prince George of Cambridge“, which was issued on August 30, 2013.
The bottom left stamp are part of the “Fungi” set, which was issued on September 8, 1997. They depict the anemone stinkhorn (Aseroe rubra) and the fungi Marasmiellus semiustus.

The left stamp is part of the flowers set (issued on June 26, 1995) and depicts the African senna (Senna didymobotrya; Cassia was the former genus of the Senna species).
The middle stamp depicts the mushroom Russula meleagris. It is part of the “Fungi” set, which was issued on September 30, 1992.
On the right there is a stamp of the “Whales” set, which commemorates the endangered blue whale (Balaenoptera musculus).

The stamp on the left depicts the edible mushroom Zambian slender Caesar (Amanita zambiana). The stamp is part of a set, which was issued on September 30, 1992.
The middle stamp commemorates the tree Mitragyna rubrostipulosa. It is part of the “Flowers” stamp set (issued June 26, 1995). The right stamp is part of the “Primates” stamp set, which was issued on December 1, 2011. It depicts the olive baboon (Papio anubis).

The left stamp is part of the “Mushrooms”-set, which was issued on March 6, 2014. It depicts the chanterelle (Cantharellus cibarius). The middle stamp is the EUROPA stamp of 1975 and the right stamp is part of the 2014 EUROPA set (issued May 8) and depicts an Alphorn.

The left stamp is part of a set which commemorates the centenary of the Romanian Peasant Museum. It depicts a head dress of Argeș. The set was issued on October 5, 2006.
The right stamp is part of a set of mushroom stamps, which was issued on January 18, 2008. It depicts a shaggy parasol (Lepiota rhacodes).

Pakistan 08/11/16

Malik send me this really beautiful cover, which has attached 8 different stamps. The bottom left stamp, which is part of the series “Men of Letters” issued on October 13 in 2001, shows Syed Imtiaz Ali Taj (1900-1970), a famous Pakistani author. The top left stamp commemorates the Sindh Festival 2001. The next stamp issued on April 9, 2001, announces the 9th SAF Games in Islamabad 2004. The middle stamp was issued on November 19, 2007; it commemorates the Centenary Celebration of the Catholic Cathedral Church in Lahore.
The next four rupees stamp issued on February 15, 2003 commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Pakistan Academy of Sciences. The very right stamp is part of the series “Medicinal Plants of Pakistan”: It shows the Chamomilla (Matricaria recutita). Finally, the two se-tenant stamps in the bottom right corner are part of a mini-sheet depicting mushrooms. They show the mushrooms Agaricus arvensis and Coprinus comatus.
