#1284 Chilean Antarctic ??/??/??

This very interesting cover was arranged by Wolfgang, thank you very much! The stamps were cancelled with a cancellation depicting the Chilean Base Eduardo Frei, but on the cover there is an additional cachet of the Russian Bellingshausen Station. Unfortunately there is no cancellation date but the cover arrived on February 7, 2018 via Berlin (inside an extra cover).

#1199 Australia 18/10/24

This very nice cover from Australia was sent by Alfred, thank you! It was posted in Fairfield Heights on October 24 and arrived on October 30, 2018.

Alfred attached some stamps of the Australian Antarctic Territory. The top left stamp commemorates the Antarctic Treaty System. The top right stamp depicts some emperor penguins (Aptenodytes forsteri).

The bottom stamps depict the Prince Charles Mountains and an “Iceberg Alley” at Mawson Station.

The left stamp depicts the grey cuckooshrike (Coracina caesia).

This stunning cover from the Chilean Antarctic Territory was arranged by Wolfgang, thank you very much! It was cancelled at the Base Eduardo Frei on April 18 and arrived on May 29, 2018.

The left stamp is part of the set “Chilean Cartography”, which was issued on November 4, 2015.

The right stamp is part of the set, which commemorates the indigenous Selk’nam people. It was issued on December 29, 2016.

Wolfgang has sent another cover from the British Antarctic Territory, thank you very much!

It was posted on Horseshoe Island on February 3 and arrived on March 23, 2017.

The stamp is part of the “Penguins” stamp set, which was issued on November 19, 2014. It depicts the Gentoo penguin (Pygoscelis papua).

This nice cover from Pakistan was sent by M. thank you! It was posted in Islamabad on January 12 and arrived on January 30, 2015.

The stamps on the left commemorate the 50th anniversary of the first ascent of the K2 (8611 m). It was issued on July 31, 2004.

The stamp set on the right was issued on July 20, 2006. It depicts the Hanna Lake, the Lake Payee, the Lake Saiful Muluk, and the Lake Dudipatsar.

The left stamp is a surcharge stamp of 1991. The middle stamp commemorates the 120th anniversary of Puente Alto.

The right stamp was issued on July 23, 2012. It commemorates the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations with South Korea.

The 2011 mini-sheet depicts the island of Saint Martin and its location in the Caribbean region.
