#403 Vietnam 10/09/15

Thank you very much, Dao, for sending this nice cover from Hanoi, Vietnam! It was posted on September 15 and arrived on September 28, 2010.

The top left stamp commemorates the bicentenary of the birth of Frédérick Chopin (1810-1849), the stamp was issued on February 22, 2010. The bottom left stamp (issued July 23, 2010) commemorates the birth centenary of Tạ Quang Bửu (1910-1986), who was the first minister of Vietnam’s Ministry of Higher and Secondary Professional Education.

The top right stamp is part of a set, which was issued on August 1, 2009. It depicts the flower Enkianthus quinqueflorus. The last stamp depicts the floss silk flower (Ceiba chodatii (Hassl.) Ravenna), it was issued on October 25, 2008.
