The left stamp depicts Mustafa Kemal Atatürk (1881–1938), the founder of the Republic of Turkey.

Tanzania 140806This very nice cover from Tanzania was sent by Déo, thank you! It was posted in Kigoma on August 6 and arrived on August 14, 2014.

The left stamp is part of the set “Ceremonial Costumes” and depicts a Kuria lady from Mara. The middle stamp depicts the chestnut bolete (Gyroporus castaneus). The right stamp commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Zanzibar Revolution in 1964. It depicts the 7th president of Zanzibar, Dr. Ali Mohamed Shein.

The stamps are part of a set, which commemorates the costumes of the Aukštaitians. The set was issued on May 20, 1995.

It commemorates five traditional wedding costumes of Malaysia. I already wrote about this set in the post #168.

The FDC was issued in Pulau Pinang on March 23, 2009. It has attached the set of five stamps depicting traditional wedding costumes of Melayu, Cina, India, Orang Ulu, and Bajau.
