#694 Grenada 11/07/01

Arcadi sent me this nice postcard from Grenada, thank you! It was posted in St. George’s on July 1 and arrived on July 7, 2011.

The left stamp commemorates the Yellow-breasted Warbler (Seicercus montis). It is part of the definitives set issued by Grenada in 2000.

The second and fourth stamp are part of the orchids set of 1999, which was issued by Grenada Grenadines. They depict the flowers Broughtonia sanguinea (Blood Red Broughtonia) and Oncidium papilio.

The third stamp is part of a set that was issued by Grenada in 2006. It commemorates the butterfly Mourning Cloak (Nymphalis antiopa).
