monaco-161115Here is another very nice cover that was sent by Jean Pierre, thank you! It was posted in Monte Carlo on November 15 and arrived on November 17, 2016.

The left stamp is part of a set, which commemorates the Mercantour National Park. It was issued on April 20, 2011 and depicts the Bertoloni columbine (Aquilegia bertolonii).

The middle stamp was issued on February 5, 2016. It commemorates the Princess Grace Rose Garden. The right stamp was issued on April 30, 2014. It commemorates the Evolution of Transportation.

UN NY 150818Tristan has sent this very nice cover from the United Nations New York, thank you! It was posted on August 18 and arrived on August 24, 2015.

The two stamps on the left were issued on June 5, 2015. They are part of the set “World Heritage – South East Asia” and commemorate the Borobudur Temple Compounds in Indonesia and the city of Luang Prabang in Laos.

The top right stamp is part of the “Roses” definitive set, which was issued on February 6, 2009. The bottom right stamp was issued on May 7, 1993.

Algeria 131027This nice cover from Algeria was sent by Noreddine, thank you! It was posted in Collo (القل‎) on October 27 and arrived on November 8, 2013.

The left stamp (issued on December 20, 2008) commemorates the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Algeria and China. The two middle stamps are part of the “roses” set, which was issued on September 7, 2004.The right stamp (issued on July 22, 2013) commemorates the Fête de la Police (Police Festival).

Thank you, Viviana, for sending this nice cover! It was posted in Buenos Aires on April 8 and arrived on April 19, 2011.

The stamp set on the left commemorate the shells Trophon geversianus, Epitonium fabrizioi, Odontocymbiola magellanica, Calliostoma militaris. The stamps were issued on August 23, 2008.

The right stamp commemorates the Argentinan newspaper “El Cronista”.

The bottom stamp was issued on September 27, 2008. It is the UPAEP (Unión Postal de las Américas, España y Portugal, more info here) stamp and commemorates Argentina’s National Flower Festival. It depicts the flowers Gerbera, Gardenia, and Rose.

Juris sent me this nice FDC from Latvia, thank you! It was issued and posted on March 25 and arrived on March 28, 2010.

The cover and stamp depict a rose. The 2005 definitive depicts the coat of arms of Jūrmala.

The cover was posted on Majuro – Uliga and arrived on October 27. The three stamps are part of the set “Roses of the Year”, which was issued on June 18, 2009. They depict the roses “Champagne Moment”, “Tickled Pink”, and “Sweet Haze”.

algeria-0812Registered cover from Algeria, posted in Setif on December 2008. This nice cover has attached the “bridges” mini-sheet, which was issued on November 26, 2008. The stamps depict the bridges in Sidi Rached, Sidi M’Cid, La Medersa, and El Kantara. Additionally, there is a 2004 stamp depicting a yellow rose.
