This beautiful cover from Australia was sent by Jean Pierre, thank you! It was posted in Sydney on March 9 and arrived on March 23, 2020.

The cover is a stationery, which commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Australian Pig Breeders Association (1909–2009). The left stamp depicts an echidna. The right stamp commemorates the invention of spray-on skin cells.

This very nice cover from Australia was sent by Alfred, thank you! It was posted in Fairfield Heights on October 24 and arrived on October 30, 2018.

Alfred attached some stamps of the Australian Antarctic Territory. The top left stamp commemorates the Antarctic Treaty System. The top right stamp depicts some emperor penguins (Aptenodytes forsteri).

The bottom stamps depict the Prince Charles Mountains and an “Iceberg Alley” at Mawson Station.

AAT 141205My first cover from the Australian Antarctic Territory was sent with the help of the postmaster at Casey Station, thank you! It was postmarked with a first day cancel on December 5, 2014. On February 12 it was cancelled again in Hobart and finally arrived on February 19, 2015.

The stamps are part of a mini-sheet, which was issued on February 18, 2014. They commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Australasian Antarctic Expedition (1911–1914).

It was posted in Maroubra on September 14 and arrived on September 17, 2012.

The left stamp is part of the Cocos Island Butterflies set, which was issued on August 2, 2012. It depicts an Australian Painted Lady (Vanessa kershawi).

The stamp set on the right was issued on March 8, 2011. It commemorates the Floral Festivals Australia. The stamps depict flowers of the genera Gerbera, Jacaranda, Viola, Tulipa, and the Australian everlasting.

Juris sent me this nice cover from Australia, thank you! It was posted in Sydney on February 17 and arrived on February 22, 2011. The special cancellation depicts Cadmans Cottage in Sydney.

The left stamp depicts the butterfly cruiser (Vindula arsinoe). It is part of a set, which was issued on May 4, 2004. The right stamp commemorates the Blue-winged Kookaburra (Dacelo leachii).

The cover is a postal stationery, which has attached the Christmas stamp, which was issued on November 2, 2009. The three middle stamps are part of the set “Australia’s Favourite Stamps” (issued on June 26, 2009) and commemorate the stamps “£2 Kangaroo & Map” (1913-1938), “5/- Opening of Sydney Harbour Bridge” (1932), and “2½d Peace & Victory” (1946). The cover and the right stamp commemorate the 400th anniversary of the islands’ discovery by William Keeling. The stamp is part of a set, which was issued on April 21, 2009. The middle stamp depicts the endangered green turtle (Chelonia mydas); it was issued on August 4, 2009. Finally, the left stamp (issued on February 28, 2008) depicts the Saunders’s Tern (Sternula saundersi).

aat-090316My first cover with a stamp of the Australian Antarctic Territory (AAT) was posted in Garfield on March 15, 2009. The stamp is part of a set, which was issued on March 4, 2009.

This issue of two AAT stamps is part of a world wide initiative involving more than 30 national postal administrations highlighting the importance of the Earth’s poles and glaciers and how global warming may affect them.

The $2.05 stamp features a jade iceberg highlighting the unique beauty and elemental nature of Antarctica. As part of this stamp issue, a special ice crystal logo has been designed by Saku Heinänen of Finland and will appear on the stamps of participating countries. cited from here
