#1105 Canada 17/05/27

On June 12 I received this very nice cover from Canada. It was posted on May 27 at Canada’s most northern post office at Eureka Station, thank you postmaster of Eureka!

According to the coordinates (79°59’20”N), it actually is situated more northern than Ny-Ålesund on Svalbard, which lies at 78°55’30”N.

The stamp is part of the set “UNESCO World Heritage”, which was issued on July 3, 2015. It depicts the international park system of Kluane / Wrangell–St. Elias / Glacier Bay / Tatshenshini-Alsek.

On the back the postmaster applied a very nice cachet too.
