#514 Mauritius 10/11/22

David sent me this nice cover from Mauritius, thank you very much! It was posted in Port Louis on December 12, 2010.

The left two stamps commemorate the fish species Cephalopholis sonnerati.

The middle stamp is entitled “Mauritius in World Literature”. It commemorates the writer Alexandre Dumas (1802-70) and his novel “Georges“.

The right stamp commemorates Dr. K. Hazareesingh, the former director of the Mahatma Gandhi Institute and a well-known Mauritian writer.
