Singapore 08/12
Airmail cover from Singapore, posted sometimes in December 2008.
This nice airmail cover has attached four stamps, two of which are ATMs. The top left stamp is a definitive depicting the Blue-spotted stingray (Neotrygon kuhlii); it has the inscription “for local addresses only” (what is the value for that?). The top right stamp commemorates the Hong San See Temple, which was built from 1908 and 1913.
The two ATMs at the bottom depict a nice cliché of Singapore, the stamps have imprinted the number of the dispensing machine “S036” and the value “5¢”. The ATMs’ design is called “tourist attractions”; it was first used on June 10, 2003. (more info …)
Thank you, Jong, for sending me this interesting cover!
