The imprinted value depicts the Queen opening the Legislative Assembly.

Thank you, Jean Pierre, for sending this airmail cover from Morocco! It was posted on January 9 and arrived on January 13, 2012.
The stamps are part of the set “Moroccon Currencies”, which was issued on October 20, 2011. The left coin was issued during the reign of Idris I (reigned from 788 to 791), the middle coin was issued under the last Almoravid king Ishaq Ben’Ali (died 1147), and the right stamp depicts a coin, which was issued under the Almohad caliph Abu Yaqub Yusuf (1135-1184).

Khor Kok Keong sent me this nice airmail cover from Malaysia, thank you! It was posted on November 1 and arrived on November 8, 2010.
The stamp set on the top was issued on October 24, 2010. It commemorates the “Heritage of Pahang Darul Makmur”. The left stamp depicts HRH Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah (*1930) and HRH Sultanah Hajjah Kalsom (*1951). The middle stamp depicts His Royal Highness as Colonel in Chief, and the right stamp depicts His Royal Highness.
The two bottom stamps commemorate the cacao tree Theobroma cacao.

Victor sent me this nice cover from Russia, thank you! It was posted in Bozoy of the Irkutsk Oblast on August 4 and arrived on August 17, 2011.
There are two 1998 definitives on the left and a set of two painting stamps on the right. The right stamp set was issued on March 19, 2010. It commemorates the 275th Anniversary of Birth of Fyodor Rokotov (1736-1808). The left stamp depicts a portrait of Knyaz D.M. Golitsyn and the right one a portrait of Countess E.A. Musina-Pushkina.

Guy sent me this beautiful cover from Canada, thank you! It was posted in the mall Galeries de la Capitale (Quebec) on November 29, 2011.
The small left stamps are part of the series “Beneficial Insects”, which was issued on October 19, 2010. They depict the Dogbane Beetle (Chrysochus auratus) and the Margined Leatherwing (Chauliognathus marginatus).
The right mini sheet was issued on April 19, 2010. It is entitled “The Four Indian Kings” and depicts paintings of Jan Verelst showing the four Indian kings Tee Yee Neen Ho Ga Row, Sa Ga Yeath Qua Pieth Tow, Ho Nee Yeath Taw No Row, and Etow Oh Koam.

Thanks to Khor Kok Keong I received this beautiful FDC from Malaysia! It was posted in Shah Alam on April 11 and arrived on, April 19, 2011.
The cover and stamps commemorate artifacts of national heritage: gold coins of Sultan Muzaffar Shah of Johor (1546–1570) and Sultan Zainal Abidin II of Terengganu (1793-1808).

John sent me my first cover from Åland, thank you very much! It was posted in Mariehamn on July 21 and arrived on July 25, 2011.
The attached mini-sheet commemorates the 150th anniversary of Mariehamn, the stamp depicts a portrait of Maria Alexandrovna of Hesse (1824-1880), who gave name to the town. The painting was made in 1857 by Franz Xaver Winterhalter (1805-1873).

This beautiful airmail cover from Cambodia was sent to me by Harry, thank you! It was cancelled in Phnom Penh on February 28, 2009.
The left stamp is part of the set “80th Anniversary of the Birth of King Norodom Sihanouk“, which was issued on October 31, 2001. The right stamp is part of the elephants set, which was issued on June 15, 2006.
