#552 Greenland 12/02/27
Frede sent me this nice cover from Greenland, thank you! It was posted in Nuuk on February 27 and arrived on March 13, 2012.
The left stamp was issued in a set of two on 17 January 2011. It commemorates the kayak mail delivery.
The middle stamp is part of the 2009 EUROPA set (issued on 19 January 2009).
The right stamp is part of a set of three, which was issued on 1 October 2007. It commemorates the discovery of Tobias Island (Tubbiap Qeqertaa) in 1993 (see this article).

#548 French Southern and Antarctic Lands 11/04/20
Thank you, Jean Pierre, for sending this amazing cover from the Île Amsterdam! It was cancelled on Martin-de-Viviès on April 20 and arrived on September 16, 2011.
The left stamp was issued on January 1, 2009, and depicts the minerals pyrite.The second stamp commemorates the mineral tourmaline and was issued on January 1, 2010. The two stamps at the right are part of the set “Amsterdam Seals”, which was issued on June 2, 2010.
The cover also has a mission cancel of the 62nd mission to St. Paul and Amsterdam, which is signed by the ornithologist Benjamin Callard.

The cover commemorates proclamation of Latvian independence on November 18, 1918. The stamp is part of a set, which commemorates the Struve geodetic arch.
#505 French Southern and Antarctic Lands 11/01/01
Thank you, Jean Pierre, for sending this beautiful cover from Martin-de-Viviès on Amsterdam Island! It was cancelled on January 1 and arrived on September 16, 2011!
The left stamp was issued on January 1, 2009, and depicts the mineral pyrite. The right stamp was issued on January 7, 2011, and therefore was cancelled before its issuing date! It depicts the station Martin-de-Viviès.
The cover also has two mission cancels of the 62nd mission to St. Paul and Amsterdam, which are signed by the ornithologist Benjamin Callard and Romain Buenadicha resp. Mr. Callard has a nice blog (in French) about the expedition.

Thank you, Saša, for sending this beautiful cover from Velenje, Slovenia. It was posted on July 25 and arrived on July 28, 2011.
The mini-sheet on the left was issued on May 27, 2011, and commemorates the Slovenian musician Johann Gerstner (1851-1939). The top right mini-sheet commemorates the 80th anniversary of the KUD Pošta Maribor Brass Band. The stamp was issued on March 25, 2011. Finally, the bottom stamp was issued on March 25 too; it commemorates the Carthusian monastery in Bistra near Vrhnika.

The cover consists of a postal stationery and four stamps. The two stamps on the left were issued on January 9, 2008. They commemorate the Singapore Changi Airport. The two middle stamps are part of the mini-sheet, which I already described in this article. It was issued on October 28, 2009.

A. Garcia sent me my first cover from Panama, thanks a lot! It was posted in Betania on February 17 and arrived on March 3, 2011. The cover and special cancellation commemorate the International Holocaust Remembrance Day on January 27.
The stamp on the front and three on the back commemorate the centenary of the independence of Panama in 1903. They are part of a set, which was issued on November 26, 2003.
The middle stamp on the back was issued in 2007 and commemorates Panama’s national park Sarigua.
The bottom airmail stamp on the back was issued on November 24, 2003. It is entitled “Jewels of the Pollera“.

The top right commemorative stamp is part of the set “World Cultural Heritage”, which was issued on August 30, 2002. It depicts the Aeolian Islands. The special cancelation commemorates the 35th anniversary of the Società Ginnastica “La Marmora” (sports club of Biella).

The top left stamp was issued on October 17, 2009. It commemorates the “100th Anniversary of Montreal Canadiens“. The top right stamp is part of the set “Roadside Attractions”, which was issued on July 6, 2009. It depicts the Sign Post Forest in Watson Lake, YT.
The bottom left stamp is part of the set “Beneficial Insects” (issued October 12, 2007). It depicts the Golden-eyed Lacewing (Chrysopa oculata). The bottom right stamp is part of the Christmas set, which was issued on November 2, 2009.
