#544 Russia 11/07/15
Thank you, Tanya, for sending this nice cover from Moscow (Москва́), Russia! It was posted on July 15 and arrived on July 25, 2011.
The top left stamp is part of the set “Old Carriages”, which was issued on July 25, 2002. It depicts a closed sleigh of Moscow 1732.
The top middle stamp was issued on September 26, 2007. It is part of the joint issue set Russia/PDR Korea and depicts the flower Gladiolus gandavensis.
The stamp top right is part of the bridges set (issued on November 28, 2008) and commemorates the Zhivopisnyi Bridge (Живописный Мост) across Moskva River.
The two definitives on the left were issued on August 29, 2008, and depicts a hare and a fox. The bottom middle stamp is part of the beetles set and depicts a Lucanus cervus. It was issued on July 22, 2003.
Finally, the last stamp commemorates the 1946 bicycle ZiCh-1 (ЗиЧ-1). This bicycle stamp set was issued on December 11, 2008.

Thank you, Simon, for sending this very nice cover from Hamburg, Germany! It was posted on January 24 and arrived on January 26, 2012.
The cover is a postal stationery, which was issued on May 4, 2006. It commemorates the 800th anniversary of the Godesburg. This German castle was founded on October 15, 1210. The cover depicts an aquatint print by Friedrich Salathé reproducing a painting by Karl Bodmer (1809-1893).

Thank you, Jean Pierre, for sending this beautiful cover from Thailand! It was posted at Phuket airport on March 24 and arrived on March 31, 2011 (Thai year 2554).
The stamp set on the left was issued on April 2, 1993. It commemorates the Thai Heritage Conservation.
The right two stamps are part of the set “50th Anniversary of Tourism Authority of Thailand Commemorative Stamps”, which was issued on June 1, 2010.

The two left stamps were issued on November 16, 2009. They commemorate the Wohnmuseum (museum of habitation) Schellenberg.
The right stamp is part of the set “Endangered birds of Liechtenstein” and depicts a whinchat (Saxicola rubetra).

The three definitives on the left are part of the set “Cultural Heritage of Slovakia”, which was issued on January 2, 2009. They depict the Church of St. John the Baptist in Sedmerovec and the Round Church of St. Margaret in Šivetice.
The right pair of stamps was issued on September 17, 2010. It commemorates the castle ruin of Topoľčany.

Khatuna attached 8 different stamps commemorating theatres of the Caucasian region: the drama theatres of Kutaisi, Tskhinvali, Tbilisi, Sukhumi, and Batumi; and the Academic Theatre and Opera and Ballet Theatre of Tbilisi.
The two left stamps were issued on December 11, 2000, and commemorates the Georgian-Russian Reflector Project.

The Carsten Fuchs company sent me this nice cover on March 18. It arrived on March 21, 2011.
The two 2010 stamps at the top commemorate a truss (Fachwerk) building in Eppingen. It depicts the Baumann house, which was built in 1582. The stamp was issued on October 7, 2010.
The bottom stamp is part of the set “Four Elements” and is entitled “fire”. It was issued on March 3, 2011.

The attached stamp set comemmorates the 24th UPU congress, which was held in Geneva. They depict the Sitalunga gazelle, the Jackson’s Hartebeest, the sport steeple chase, and the Kenyatta International Conference Centre. The set was issued on February 7, 2008.

The left stamp was issued onAugust 9, 2008, and depicts a peacock.
The right stamp is part of the bridges set, which was issued on July 1, 2004. It depicts the Rama VIII Bridge.

#418 USA 10/08/10
Willie sent me this beautiful registered cover from the USA, thank you! It was posted in Menomonie on August 10 and arrived on August 19, 2010.
There are several UN stamps attached, which were normally cancelled by US post! Two stamps of the flags series, depicting the flags of Kampuchea and Honduras, and two stamps of the “Human Rights” set.
Two of the US stamps commemorate the Mackinac Bridge, which was issued on February 3, 2010. Three are part of the 2010 set “Animal Rescue”. The two top middle US stamps commemorate the Zion National Park, they were issued on June 28, 2009. The definitive in the middle commemorates the author Harriet Beecher Stowe (1811-1896).

The left stamp was issued on July 25, 2008; it commemorates the Pokrovsk Cathedral. The middle stamp is part of the definitives set “Russian Kremlins” (issued on October 1, 2009); it depicts the Rostov Kremlin. The right stamp was issued on November 30, 2009. It commemorates the 50th anniversary of the Antarctic Treaty.
