#552 Greenland 12/02/27
Frede sent me this nice cover from Greenland, thank you! It was posted in Nuuk on February 27 and arrived on March 13, 2012.
The left stamp was issued in a set of two on 17 January 2011. It commemorates the kayak mail delivery.
The middle stamp is part of the 2009 EUROPA set (issued on 19 January 2009).
The right stamp is part of a set of three, which was issued on 1 October 2007. It commemorates the discovery of Tobias Island (Tubbiap Qeqertaa) in 1993 (see this article).

The cover commemorates the philatelic exhibition Baltica 2001, which was held from September 14 to 16, 2001.
The stamp is part of the 2011 EUROPA stamp set.

The top stamp was issued on May 6, 2011. It is the Hungarian issue of EUROPA series “Forests”.
The bottom stamp is part of the set “Philaclub”, which was issued on December 4, 2009.

The cover is a FDC of the Kazakh EUROPA stamp issued on May 6, 2010. An additional 1996 definitive was attached.

The cover was posted on August 2 and arrived on August 9,2010. The cover was carried onboard of the Airbus A319 on Lufthansa first flight LH3275 from Bursa to Munich.
The attached stamp is the EUROPA stamp, which was issued on May 9, 2010.

The cover commemorates the 80th anniversary of the “Sėla” museum housed in Biržai Castle (Biržų krašto muziejus SĖLA).
The left stamp commemorates a 16th century fisherman’s boat, the kurėnas. The right stamp is part of the EUROPA set, which was issued on April 25, 2009. It commemorates the famous astronomer Galileo Galilei (1564-1642).

José Luís sent me this beautiful cover from his hometown Gijón. It was posted on July 3, 2009.
The attached stamp is the 2009 EUROPA issue, which was cancelled with a special postmark commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Rotary Club Gijón. The cover shows the Rotary logo and the coat of arms of Gijón.

The left stamp is the 2009 Swiss EUROPA issue and the right one commemorates the Swiss politician Eugène Borel (1835-1892).
Turkey 08/11/10
This beautiful cover was sent to me by Ahmet from Pasaport/Izmir. It was posted on November 10, 2008.
The top four stamps are of a 1960 set commemorating the spring flower festival in Istanbul. The bottom left two stamps were issued on July 10, 2007. They are part of a definitive series showing the 81 Turkish provinces. They depict the south-eastern province of Siirt. The bottom right stamp is the EUROPA stamp issued on May 9, 2008.
