Thank you, Simon, for sending this very nice cover from Hamburg, Germany! It was posted on January 24 and arrived on January 26, 2012.
The cover is a postal stationery, which was issued on May 4, 2006. It commemorates the 800th anniversary of the Godesburg. This German castle was founded on October 15, 1210. The cover depicts an aquatint print by Friedrich Salathé reproducing a painting by Karl Bodmer (1809-1893).

The Carsten Fuchs company sent me this nice cover on March 18. It arrived on March 21, 2011.
The two 2010 stamps at the top commemorate a truss (Fachwerk) building in Eppingen. It depicts the Baumann house, which was built in 1582. The stamp was issued on October 7, 2010.
The bottom stamp is part of the set “Four Elements” and is entitled “fire”. It was issued on March 3, 2011.

The attached stamp was issued on September 4, 2008. It commemorates the “Alte Rheinbrücke” (Old Bridge over Rhine) between Bad Säckingen and Stein in Aargau. It is a German/Swiss joint issue.

It was posted on January 25, 2010, and has attached a stamp commemorating the 500th birthday of John Calvin (1509-1564). The stamp was issued on July 2, 2009.

It was posted on January 22, 2010. The left stampis part of the 2007 set “pets” and depicts two guinea pigs. The right stamps are definitives depicting a Tagetes flower and the Erfurt Cathedral.

This very nice FDC from Berlin, Germany, was sent to me by Heino, thank you!
It was issued and posted on January 2, 2010, and commemorates the European Capital of Culture 2010: Essen on behalf of the whole Ruhr Area (therefore the stamp inscription “Ruhr 2010″).
In order to fulfill the postage, Heino attached a € 0.15 ATM stamp depicting the Brandenburg Gate.

Konrad sent me this nice FDC from Berlin, thank you! It has attached the two Christmas stamps of 2009; issue date: November, 12.
The stamps depict initials of the “Hoya-Missal”, which is a Gothic missal written between 1420 and 1430 at the Utrecht school of Zweder van Culemborg.

It is a postal stationery commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Bietigheim Enz Valley Bridge. The two additional stamps are the tulip definitive and one ATM. The special cancellation has the date March 08, 2009, and commemorates the lighthouse Balje and the stranded fire-ship.

Tim sent me this nice letter from Germany, which was delivered by the private post organisation “Morgenpost“.
The stamp of 52 cent was issued in 2007 and depicts a bus of the Rhein-Neckar-Verkehr GmbH. In addition to the stamp there is a machine label attached. The letter was posted in Heidelberg on May 6 and the Morgenpost handed it over to TNT post, which applied a meter marking on May 7.
