Željko sent me this beautiful card from Croatia, thank you! It was posted in Zagreb on January 4 and arrived on January 9, 2012.
The card and imprinted value commemorates Marco Polo (c. 1254-1324) and the World Philatelic Exhibition in China 1999.
Željko attached an additional stamp “Year of the Dragon”, which was cancelled with a special first day cancellation.

The cover is a postal stationery, which was issued on May 4, 2006. It commemorates the 800th anniversary of the Godesburg. This German castle was founded on October 15, 1210. The cover depicts an aquatint print by Friedrich Salathé reproducing a painting by Karl Bodmer (1809-1893).

The cover consists of a postal stationery and four stamps. The two stamps on the left were issued on January 9, 2008. They commemorate the Singapore Changi Airport. The two middle stamps are part of the mini-sheet, which I already described in this article. It was issued on October 28, 2009.

The postal stationery commemorates the Beavertail Cactus (Opuntia basilaris). The additional stamp depicts a cactus of the species Mamillaria.

The imprinted stamp commemorates the sailing ship “Großherzogin Elisabeth“. The cover commemorates the 125th anniversary of the Kiel Week.

The stamps are part of the zodiac set, which was issued on October 9, 2007. I already wrote about the stamps and the postal stationery in this post.

The cover is a postal stationery, which has attached the Christmas stamp, which was issued on November 2, 2009. The three middle stamps are part of the set “Australia’s Favourite Stamps” (issued on June 26, 2009) and commemorate the stamps “£2 Kangaroo & Map” (1913-1938), “5/- Opening of Sydney Harbour Bridge” (1932), and “2½d Peace & Victory” (1946). The cover was posted in Mamoudzou on October 23, 2009. It is a postal stationery depicting a lemur; the imprinted stamp shows some birds. The additional stamp was issued in 2009 and commemorates the jasmine.
I am trying to find out more about the stamp and postal stationery.
