This nice mini-sheet commemorates the Weheragolla – Udawalawe National Park in Southern Sri Lanka, which was established in 1972 and has an area of 306 km². The stamps have a total face value of 50 rupees (5 + 45) and depict water buffaloes (Bubalus bubalis) and common langurs (Presbytes entellus).
