Kevin sent me this nice airmail letter from Myanmar, thank you! It was posted in Yangon on January 20 and arrived on February 28, 2012. Due to the missending of the letter to Thailand (see blue cancel) the delivery took more than one month.

I received my first cover from Burma/Union of Myanmar on March 17, 2009.
I find this cover very interesting although I hardly can tell something about it. I do not know where it was posted. I hardly could decipher the posting date. Does anybody know what the black cancel with added number “35″ means?
It is funny, that my Burmese friend located Austria within Eastern Europe.
The back of the cover has attached eight stamps: seven à 5 kyat depicting the myanmar xylophone and one 50 kyat stamp depicting the shan pot drum.
