This beautiful FDC was sent to me by Khor Kok Keong (http://kkkhor.blogspot.com/), thank you! The FDC commemorates the Silver Jubilee of Sultan Azlan Shah of Perak. The three stamps and FDC were issued on February 3, 2009.

I received this nice postcard from my parents in 1998, when they were visiting San Marino. The two stamps commemorate the castle of Serravalle and the tree Pinus pinea.

My first cover from Montenegro was sent to me by Željko, thank you!
The cover was posted in Ulcinj on April 16, 2009. It has attached a stamp issued on December 15, 2005, which depicts the Montenegrin state flag. The flag is red with gold border and shows the coat of arms: the golden two-headed eagle as symbol of the House of Petrović-Njegoš and the golden lion in the center symbolising the Lion of Judah.

Cover from Germany, posted on January 19, 2009. The right stamp commemorates the architect Carl Gotthard Langhans (1732-1808), who constructed the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin.

My first cover from Tunisia was posted in Djerba on February 16, 2009. The attached 2008 stamp commemorates the Tunisian author Mahmoud Messadi (1911-2004), who also was minister of education and culture. Among his merits are the modernisation of the Tunisian education system and the foundation of the Tunisian university. The stamp was cancelled with an interesting postmark, advertising for the Tunisian Post using the words “La Poste Tunisienne toujours plus … vers le modernisme” (the Tunisian Post always more … towards modernism).

This beautiful cover has attached the two self-adhesive stamps of the series “Flora and Fauna 2009″, which was issued on April 1. The stamps depict the gladiolus flower and the Capercaillie (Tetrao urogallus).
The special postmark commemorates the 8th exposition in the Semana Santa, organised by the Philatelic Group of Avilés.
